Venezuelan national sentenced for firearms possession

Cristhian Ortega-Lopez, a Venezuelan national and suspected Tren de Aragua member, was sentenced to 19 months in jail for illegally possessing firearms and conspiring to destroy evidence. He was housed by a former New Mexico judge and his wife prior to sentencing.
