Suspect from east Charlotte bus shooting pleads guilty to federal gun charge after state charges dismissed

Paris Lewis-Bynum, a suspect in the east Charlotte school bus shooting, pleaded guilty to a federal gun charge after his state charges were dismissed. The District Attorney’s office dropped three felony charges against him in April related to the December 2024 incident.
