Burnham: New law strikes at 'cover-up culture' over soccer disaster
Andy Burnham, soon-to-be new British Prime Minister, highlighted a proposed Hillsborough law aimed at ending 'cover-up culture' following the 1989 stadium disaster where 97 Liverpool fans died. The law, which imposes a duty of candor on public officials, was approved by MPs and will proceed to the House of Lords for further scrutiny.
