Darline Graham, sister of late Sen. Lindsey Graham, will be sworn in to fill her brother's term

Darline Graham, sister of late South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, was appointed to fill his Senate seat by Gov. Henry McMaster and will be sworn in three days after his death. A special election will be held next month to select a new Republican nominee for the seat. Darline Graham, who has no prior public office experience, will become South Carolina’s first female senator.
