HC directs DGP to ascertain if Cherlapally police station was being run from illegally occupied building
The High Court directed the Director General of Police (DGP) to investigate whether the Cherlapally police station was operating from an illegally occupied building. The court noted that the Society's rental agreement with the building owner expired in 2024, and the agreement's ninth condition prohibited sub-leasing without the owner's consent.
