2nd campground closes on Isle Royale after increased wolf activity due to improperly stored food
A second campground on Isle Royale National Park, Duncan Narrows Campground, is closed through July 31 due to increased wolf activity caused by improperly stored food. The closure follows a previous temporary shutdown and ineffective hazing efforts, with wolves accessing shelters and damaging items. The Three Mile Campground was also recently closed for similar reasons.
