Zoetis acquires medical imaging company in latest push to build AI
Zoetis has acquired Texas-based VitalRADS, a medical imaging company, to expand its AI-driven animal diagnostics capabilities. The acquisition provides access to a database of 30 million animal radiology images, which will train AI models to automate technician workflows. This follows Zoetis's earlier purchase of Neogen's animal genomics business for $160 million, aimed at enhancing herd management software for farmers.
