Astronomer's name deciphered from ancient Mayan ruins for first time

The name 'White-chested Fox' was identified as an astronomer in ancient Mayan drawings at the San Bartolo-Xultun site, dating from 400 BC to 900 AD. This is the first time an astronomer's name has been deciphered from Mayan ruins.
