Israel to hold national elections on 27 October, Knesset says

Israel’s parliament will dissolve on 17 July, and national elections will be held on 27 October as scheduled, according to Knesset Legal Adviser Sagit Afik. The vote will be Israel’s first on schedule since 1988 and mark the first time an Israeli government completes a full term since 1973.
