A key ‘forever chemicals’ lawsuit settles out of court in North Carolina
A lawsuit involving 2,658 North Carolina residents, including Mike Watters, against Chemours for PFAS contamination of the Cape Fear River and surrounding areas has settled out of court. Plaintiffs sought compensation for health risks and property devaluation caused by GenX and other 'forever chemicals' released by the Fayetteville Works Plant.
