Ukraine agrees on plan to acquire 16 Rafale jets, France’s Macron says

Ukraine and France agreed to acquire 16 Rafale jets and associated weapon systems, including SAMP/T NG air-defense batteries, radar, and missiles. The agreement includes licensing for Ukraine to produce AASM glide-bombs, Aster 30 interceptors, and SCALP/Storm Shadow missiles. Nine countries, including France and the UK, formed a coalition to develop an anti-ballistic defense system called Freyja centered on Ukrainian-made interceptors.
