In deep red Idaho, support for ballot question on abortion access is spread across party lines
Idaho's Reproductive Freedom and Privacy Act ballot initiative, which would restore abortion access until fetal viability and protect reproductive care, has garnered cross-party support with 28% of collected signatures from registered Republicans, 37% from Democrats, and 33% from unaffiliated voters. The initiative joins other abortion-related measures on November state ballots, including a reaffirmation in Nevada and a constitutional amendment in Virginia.
