Big Blue thinks small, again, with 2U POWER tower

IBM has introduced the 2U POWER11 S1112 server, targeting edge deployments and entry-level users, alongside the z17 ME2 mainframe, expanding its smaller hardware offerings. The S1112 supports DDR5 memory and IBM i, AIX, and Linux, with a focus on accessibility for smaller customers and AI capabilities via Spyre accelerators.
