New pecan shelling and distribution center coming to Colorado Springs

A new pecan shelling and distribution center is set to open in Colorado Springs at Peak Innovation Park near the Colorado Springs Airport. The Creel family, who own a pecan orchard in Mexico and operate American Beef, will build the facility, creating 50 jobs with an average annual salary of $76,000. Groundbreaking is expected in August 2027.
