Chief: 2 of 3 victims killed in Lake Pepin pontoon crash were Wabasha firefighters

Two of the three victims killed in a pontoon boat collision with a commercial barge on Lake Pepin were Wabasha firefighters, confirmed by the city’s fire chief. The incident occurred near Deer Island in Pepin, Wisconsin, resulting in three fatalities and three survivors.
