Pakistan allows 26 World Food Programme containers to enter Afghanistan via Torkham
Pakistan customs authorities issued gate passes to 26 World Food Programme (WFP) containers carrying humanitarian supplies to Afghanistan via the Torkham border, which has been closed since October 2025 due to security concerns. The containers were cleared for entry after awaiting approval from higher authorities, following a previous incident where a similar WFP convoy was rejected by Afghan Taliban authorities.
