US to begin enforcing maritime blockade on Iran on Tuesday

The U.S. military will enforce a maritime blockade on Iran starting July 14 at 4 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, covering all Iranian ports, oil terminals, and coastal areas. Unauthorized vessels may be intercepted, diverted, or captured, though neutral transit through the Strait of Hormuz to non-Iranian destinations will remain unimpeded.
