Mullin defends move to tie election security to counterterrorism funding
Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin defended a decision to link counterterrorism grant funding to election security requirements. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced in June that states must meet election security demands to receive the funding, traditionally used for combating terror attacks.
