EU targets Russian intelligence officers accused of running a yearslong cyber spying campaign

The European Union imposed sanctions on Russian military intelligence officers, hackers, and private companies linked to a yearslong cyber espionage campaign targeting governments and critical infrastructure since 2010. The EU accused Russia's FSB 16th Centre of controlling cyber threat groups and conducting sabotage operations in at least nine European countries, including France, Germany, and Poland.
