Brazil’s Digital Invoice Enters Live Testing, Eyeing Cheaper SME Credit
Brazil’s central bank has moved its digital invoice system into the final testing phase before standardization, aiming to unlock R$11 trillion in annual invoices for cheaper SME credit. Currently, only about R$1 trillion of invoices are used as credit.
