Europe’s Hydis project settles on concept for hypersonic interceptor

Europe’s Hydis project, led by MBDA, has selected a solid-propellant rocket motor concept for a hypersonic interceptor, validated by the program’s steering committee. The project aims to advance critical technologies to Technology Readiness Level 3, competing with the Hydef program for €100 million in European Defence Fund funding.
