Gov. JB Pritzker signs new Illinois energy laws
Illinois Governor JB Pritzker signed two new energy laws aimed at making energy bills more affordable for low-income customers. House Bill 4456 expands a discount program for electricity and gas, while eligibility for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) has been increased to 300 percent of the poverty level.
