Police working to identify suspect accused of burglarizing Scottsville business

The Scottsville Police Department is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect accused of burglarizing a local business multiple times, stealing brass, and fleeing after being confronted on July 10, 2026. The suspect is described as carrying an orange backpack, walking with a slight limp, and not having a visible face in surveillance images.
