Karnataka requests Kerala to donate captive elephant to Mookambika temple

Karnataka's Chief Minister has requested Kerala to donate a female elephant to the Mookambika temple. Kerala had previously rejected a similar request from Telangana's Chief Minister. Rules exist for transferring elephants within or between states.
