In Malaysia, BN’s Johor ‘blue wave’ leaves Anwar’s PH facing hard questions
Barisan Nasional (BN) secured 48 out of 56 seats in Johor, surpassing its 2022 result, while Pakatan Harapan (PH) won only eight seats. The victory is expected to strengthen BN within the unity government led by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and prompt PH to address its declining public appeal.
