Judge tosses remnants of Proud Boys seditious conspiracy case after Trump’s broad clemency
A federal judge dismissed the remaining charges against four Proud Boys members convicted of seditious conspiracy related to the 2021 Capitol riot after President Trump issued pardons to many involved. Judge Timothy Kelly, appointed by Trump, ruled there was no basis to uphold the convictions following Trump’s clemency actions.
