Maple Grove fire chief charged with allegedly sexually assaulting a teenager
Maddison Zikmund, Maple Grove's fire chief, was charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct for allegedly assaulting a 17-year-old girl in 2017 while she was part of the Fire Explorer program he led. The investigation revealed explicit communications between Zikmund and the victim, and he admitted to exchanging explicit photos but denied sexual contact. Zikmund is on administrative leave, and his first court appearance is scheduled for September 4.
