Hunter Biden wins $1.7m in suit over Iran bribery claim by ex-CEO of Overstock.com
Hunter Biden was awarded $1.7 million in punitive damages by a federal judge in a defamation lawsuit against Patrick Byrne, former Overstock.com CEO and Donald Trump ally. The lawsuit was over Byrne's claim that Hunter sought a bribe from Iran's government in 2021 to lobby his father to free $8 billion in Iran assets.
