Final phase in Wilson County spot safety project to begin next week
The Tennessee Department of Transportation will begin the final phase of the Wilson County spot safety project on State Route 109 from July 13 to 17, involving intermittent southbound lane and shoulder closures. Future work includes completing the project and constructing a median south of Eastgate Boulevard to improve safety and traffic flow near the Interstate 40 interchange.
