Ventura County man pleads guilty to hate crime at local grocery store

A 45-year-old Ventura County man pleaded guilty to a felony hate crime after threatening a Black shopper with racial slurs outside a grocery store in Oxnard. Surveillance cameras and witnesses documented the incident, which occurred on May 13 at Grocery Outlet on 920 N. Ventura Road.
