‘Structural concerns’ close down Middle Tennessee bridge

The Mt. Olivet Bridge in Columbia, Tennessee, will close on July 13 due to structural concerns. The City of Columbia is coordinating with the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) to assess if the bridge's scheduled 2029 replacement project can be accelerated. Motorists are advised to use detours and allow extra travel time during the closure.
