‘Unlikely’ that all of Javeayah Harris’s remains will be found, sheriff says
Authorities found some remains of 4-year-old Javeayah Harris, but Aiken County Sheriff Marty Sawyer stated it is unlikely all remains will be recovered. The girl’s parents allegedly used corrosive chemicals to dissolve her body before disposing of it in Cedar Creek Reservoir. They face charges including homicide by child abuse and destruction of human remains.
