São Paulo Launched 26,700 Homes Nobody Bought. Rates Explain Why.
São Paulo saw a 40.3% annual increase in unsold new homes, reaching 85,200 units by December. In 2025, developers launched 139,700 homes but sold only 113,000, creating a 26,700-unit shortfall. Mid and high-end home launches rose 41% while sales in that bracket fell 11%.
