TVK government changes the name of free bus travel scheme for women
The TVK government renamed the free bus travel scheme for women from 'Mahalir Vidiyal Payanam' to 'Magalir Payanam'. Metropolitan Transport Corporation buses displayed the new name on Thursday. A political figure, Thangam Thennarasu, stated this change aims to erase political identities.
