Brazil Says Paraguay’s Weight-Loss Pens Are Not the Same Drug
Brazil's medicines regulator, Anvisa, stated that Paraguay's weight-loss pens are not equivalent to the drug tirzepatide. Tests by Unicamp's toxicology centre confirmed the presence and concentration of tirzepatide in smuggled vials but did not assess impurities, contaminants, or sterility.
