Clinton Township native firefighter killed while battling Colorado wildfire returns home
Emily Barker, a 38-year-old Clinton Township firefighter with the U.S. Forest Service Rifle Helitack crew, was killed in a wildfire in western Colorado near the Utah border. Her remains were returned to Michigan on July 9, and the Detroit Fire Department honored her with an escort along I-94.
