Half of parents are worried their kids are too hooked on AI
Half of parents in a Deloitte survey are concerned their children rely too much on AI, while one-third believe schools are under-teaching AI skills. Nearly 30% of parents report their children use generative AI tools in schoolwork, but only 22% of schools provide approved AI tools and 33% have usage guidelines. A Canadian physics teacher has shifted to handwritten assignments to address AI overuse.
