State Election Board passes rule seeking access to secretary of state’s election night ‘bunker’
The Georgia State Election Board passed a rule granting board members access to the secretary of state’s election night hub, despite the attorney general’s warning it exceeds the board’s authority. The 3-2 vote included Republican and Democratic members opposing, with the rule introduced by Salleigh Grubbs, a Georgia Republican Party official. Another rule defining vote counting procedures was also passed.
