Hong Kong rail operator taps star power to promote safer escalator use
Hong Kong’s MTR Corporation has launched a safety campaign featuring actor Kent Cheng Jak-si to discourage walking on escalators, following reports of over 500 annual accidents. The promotional video, set to air in stations and on social media, highlights safe escalator practices using a catchphrase from Cheng’s 2012 TVB role.
