Michigan man beat, strangled girlfriend for days, shot phone to keep her from calling 911, cops say

A St. Clair County man is facing multiple charges after allegedly beating and strangling his girlfriend for days and shooting her phone to prevent her from calling 911. He was arrested after attempting to flee in a golf cart and was given a $10,000 bond. His next court date is scheduled for July 14.
