Hong Kong records surge in disciplinary cases among intern and resident doctors
The number of disciplinary cases involving intern and resident doctors in Hong Kong’s public hospitals nearly tripled over four years, rising from 20 cases in 2024-25 to 35 in 2025-26. Secretary for Health Lo Chung-mau disclosed this data, with lawmakers urging stronger safeguards to maintain professional standards.
