Vivo Is Absorbing Its Fiber Unit. Here’s Why It Matters
Telefonica Brasil, which operates the Vivo brand, is set to absorb FiBrasil, a wholesale fiber network with a book value of R$812.6 million. The merger requires shareholder approval on July 31 and will take legal effect on August 1.
