Volcano Fire burning near Murrieta prompts evacuations

Evacuations have been ordered due to the Volcano Fire burning near Murrieta. The fire, which started at 2:30 p.m., covers 77 acres near Via Volcano and Tenaja Road in the La Cresta area as of 4:42 p.m., according to CAL FIRE and the Riverside County Fire Department.
