Got hit with the Underage Scam

A person fell victim to an underage scam after meeting a girl on a dating app, exchanging photos, and later receiving a fake police call claiming the girl was 17 and hospitalized. They were pressured to pay $5000 in medical expenses but instead paid $1500 to a scam hotline (blackmailhelp) after realizing the deception.
