Man dies after firework explodes in his hand at abandoned Shoreview building

A man in his 20s died after a firework exploded in his hand at an abandoned building in Shoreview. Emergency crews responded to the incident at the former Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant but faced challenges rescuing him due to inaccessible stairs. He was treated and transported to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
