Former mayor of Mississippi's capital city pleads guilty in bribery scheme

The former mayor of Mississippi's capital city and the former City Council president pleaded guilty to conspiracy in a bribery scheme. A former district attorney also pleaded guilty and resigned, while two others had already pleaded guilty to bribery charges related to a development project. Sentencing for the three could include up to five years in prison.
