Assam district orders deportation of man declared foreigner

Kayam Ansari was declared a non-citizen by a Foreigners’ Tribunal and ordered to leave India under the Immigrants (Expulsion from Assam) Act, 1950. An Assam district has mandated his deportation following the tribunal's ruling.
