Pemra seeks Council of Islamic Ideology's guidance on Geo News' suspension

Pemra has suspended Geo News' license for 15 days over content deemed offensive to religious sentiments and is seeking the Council of Islamic Ideology's guidance on whether Geo News' response (apology and employee action) is sufficient. The Council of Complaints is also tasked with evaluating if further regulatory action is required.
