Kerala Assembly: Minister says govt to prioritise battery energy storage systems to tackle power crisis
The Kerala government plans to prioritize battery energy storage systems (BESS) to address the power crisis. Five of six BESS projects are expected to be completed by 2026, providing 1,500 MW in storage capability, as stated by Electricity Minister Sunny Joseph.
