Akwesasne man pleads guilty in smuggling case that left family with 2 toddlers dead

A 31-year-old Akwesasne man pleaded guilty to a human smuggling conspiracy that resulted in the 2023 drowning deaths of a family, including two children under the age of three, in the St. Lawrence River.
